Whilst living in Auckland Chrissy was diagnosed with five tumours on her kidney. As a committed Christian she knew that healing was a gift from God through Jesus Christ and she kept believing for a healing from Him whilst seeking treatment. After having chemotherapy and radiation treatment for some time the cancer had not responded and surgery was the next option. Feeling very unwell Chrissy returned to Kerikeri with her children. She had made the decision to stop all treatment as she found she was feeling too sick to function as a mother. She asked the members of the Kerikeri Christian Assembly to pray for her, and was healed immediately! All subsequent tests showed that the cancer had completely gone, with no drugs this time and no operation

Malcolm was diagnosed as having arthritis in his spine. He was farming at the time and was In considerable pain. The doctors said that he would be unable to continue farming.
However after getting his wife Pamela to lay hands on his back and pray for him, the pain ceased immediately and 25 years later has never returned.

Until her baptism 25 years ago, Pamela was continually ill with kidney problems as well as experiencing severe allergies to cat fur, dust and bee stings.
Immediately after baptism these life long problems miraculously ceased never to return.
